TEKsystems Field Sales Representative in Sudbury, Ontario

Role: Field Sales Representative

Company: Leading Candy Company within Canada

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 + Benefits + Commissions + Bonus

Location: Sudbury

Description:

Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager, the Field Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales through volume and distribution gains in an assigned territory – Thunder Bay. The Field Sales Representative will be expected to produce results that meet and exceed distribution, merchandising, and sales objectives across all aspects of the product portfolio. The Field Sales Representative will continually increase market share while building long-term relationships with customers. As a corporate distributor, this candidate will spend the majority of time out in the field, working directly with businesses/clients to develop business opportunities and sell and distribute products, while managing inventory.

This role is completely autonomous and flexible - where the candidate can create their own schedule to meet performance expectations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience / preferably in CPG or Retail industry; Must be customer-oriented/brand ambassador / go-getter attitude

    -1-2 years of experience with driving a truck (a small truck) - Preferably experience driving in Sudbury Area

  • Full / valid & unrestricted driver's license - company vehicle will be provided - extensive time driving in the market and working independently

  • Physically active/strong - Must be able to lift approx 30lb for distributing confectionary once per week

  • Must be computer literate - proficiency with technology for company systems - invoicing, inventory tracking, Microsoft Office, etc
