    You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and get, want, and have capacity to do the following things:

  • Operational Excellence and Strategy Deployment: Accurately verify prescriptions and formulas, ensuring compliance and process control for compounded sterile and non-sterile medications.

  • Project Management and Leadership: Actively supervise pharmacy technicians (data entry, compounding, and dispensing) as well as support personnel, while evaluating processes and systems to assist in achieving operational efficiencies.

  • Training and Capability Development: Actively supervise and engage in training and competencies for technicians, pharmacists, and support personnel pursuant to FDA, USP, and state board requirements.

  • Analytics and Continuous Improvement: Maintain inventory levels and batching schedules to manage compounded medication inventory.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Deliver outstanding customer service when communicating with patients and providers; ensure effective communication and collaboration across the organization.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment through complying with procedures, regulations, and industry best-practices

  • Prioritize daily tasks (via electronic Quality Management System and compounding software) to ensure all products are compounded, filled and shipped appropriately

  • Plan, administer, organize and successfully implement all pharmacy operations activities

    We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you’ll be accountable for hitting the following numbers each day:

  • Lead, manage and take accountability for quarterly process improvement projects (3-5 a quarter)

  • Develop, maintain and report KPIs for Operations (Pharmacy Operations, Materials Management, Quality and Customer Service) (Up to 20 Metrics, continuously)

  • Manage ongoing administrative and operations tasks (5-10 a week)

    Required Qualifications

  • PharmD

  • Proven experience with a 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy is preferred but not required
