Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operator to work in Stephen, MN. From: 04/01/2024 - 12/15/2024 Work: 45 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. JOB DESCRIPTION: Operating farm equipment, hauling commodities from field to storage, fieldwork including tilling, planting, spraying, harvesting and other job duties associated with raising these crops. Maintenance and cleaning of farm equipment and trucks. Must be able to learn technology used in equipment. Must have a positive attitude and work well with others. Must have mechanical ability and take pride in their work. Employee would need to be tobacco free since we have a tobacco free workplace policy. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer s discretion. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company hiring practices as allowed by law. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular (Class D) driver's license. Requires 3 months experience. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
