Regions Hospital Therapist, Speech in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehab team. This Speech Pathology position will serve adult patients primarily admitted to our 21-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility but will also see some patients on our acute care units. Our Rehabilitation Center maintains CARF specialty accreditation in stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury care--meaning that we hold ourselves to high standards of care and provide ongoing training and personal development of clinical skills in these areas and in our rehab technology to support patient recovery. We work collaboratively as a interdisciplinary team so strong problem solving and communication skills are needed. There is also a holiday rotation requirement and this position requires working 1 weekend every 6th weekend. We provide a thorough on-boarding process to all new hires and will provide mentorship. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, one weekend every 6 weeks and 1-2 holidays per year. Hours are 8:00-4:30. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology. Licensed/registered/certified with applicable governing Speech Language Pathology board(s) and Minnesota Department of Health. CPR Certification (Basic Life Support). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in similar setting/diagnoses Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
