Position TitleSr Mortgage Claims Title SpecialistLocationWork From Home United StatesJob SummaryPay Range: $19.85 - $28.15 - $36.46Job Responsibilities:Assist Post-Sale FHA portfolio with ordering, reviewing, and providing clear and marketable title for conveyance to HUD. Research and investigate possible outstanding utility bills, taxes and liens. Provide documentation of outstanding bills for Claims area The title specialist will work closely with our Foreclosure attorney network, Property Preservation vendors, as well as our in-house Auction Specialist. The Senior Specialist will also review and manage the deed pipeline for Post-sale FHA and VA pipeline paying particular attention to ensure deeds are executed timely and accurately, and review inventory for recorded Foreclosure deeds communicating with attorneys to ensure timely notification is provided. Assist 2nd chance auction areas, as needed.Work with management to build-out procedural guidelines and oversight standards, to the team, ensure adherence to applicable guidelines and other legal requirementsHandle escalated issues, both internally and externally. Provide support and back-up to the Eviction and Auction specialists as needed.Job Requirements:High School Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent is requiredFive years in a default mortgage servicing roleFive years working in FHA or VA title review roleTwo years resolving property title defectsPrior experience managing pipeline of 100 plus loansStrong analytical and technical skills including Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with BlackNight servicing platform (LoanSphere, MSP)Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organizationDemonstrated success in working in a fast-paced production environment with great attention to detailGood leadership skills, team building, and consensus building skills; demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with cross functional teamsFocus on self-growth.
