Smart Care Equipment Solutions Senior Procurement and Fleet Specialist in St. Paul, Minnesota

This role will report to the Director of Indirect Procurement. This position will be responsible for overseeing the fleet inbox/ticketing system, completing timely reports (savings, fleet management, telematics, monthly expenses), maintaining the contract management system, spend reporting, and being the lead for our centralized ERP. Additional telematics, reporting and other responsibilities may be assigned. Key metrics to include timely reporting and with procurement efficiency improvement. This position is the baseline role to be a more senior role in procurement or supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Complete reporting on a timely basis, including fleet reporting, expense reporting, savings analysis and telematics reporting. Lead person for contract management system, ensuring contracts are entered and monitored. Maintains good communication with suppliers as needed. Exhibits an understanding of basic financial analysis and a comparison of cost and price. Monitor and act on the fleet inbox, as well as travel and procurement inboxes. Actively communicates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they have the information needed regarding delivery. Work with telematics to ensure systems are run efficiently and reporting is completed in a timely manner. Work with suppliers and implementation programs as needed. Makes recommendations and encourages peers and colleagues to identify cost reduction and delivery improvement opportunities. Qualifications and Competencies : Education - B.S in applicable field preferred; at least three (3) years of relevant experience and high school education required Project Management - Capable of effectively managing complex projects with little to no guidance. Supply Chain Knowledge - Completely understands the role of each function in the Supply Chain and how their Key Performance Indicators support the needs of end customers. Has been a leader in a number of Supply Chain functions and led cross-functional teams to drive improvements in the Supply Chain. Fosters Open Communication - Demonstrated ability to improve and expand the application of fostering open communication at Smart Care. Establishes creative ways to obtain input from others. Shows outstanding active listening skills that draw out difficult or contentious information. Chooses the appropriate communication vehicle for the situation. Manage Execution - Demonstrated results indicating deep knowledge of managing execution Coordinates performance across regions, teams, and departments on complex projects and work flows. Measures effectiveness of execution through defined metrics and disciplined monitoring. Schedule Management - Manages the project schedule using the recommended project management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline. Scope Management - Manages a list of project deliverables (scope) using the recommended project management tools and processes to ensure that the project includes all the work required and only the work required to complete the project successfully. Project Issue and Risk Management - Manages the process to identify, assess and prioritize issues and risks using recommended tools and processes to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of negative events or to maximize the realization of positive events. Business insight - Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals. Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. Financial acumen - Interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions. Plans and aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. Manages conflict - Handling conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise. Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Office Location Offering(s) Requested work location is on-site at a Smart Care Equipment Solutions location. St. Paul, MN is preferred but will consider Indianapolis. This position is a hybrid role, with a minimum of three days in the office per week.
