As a QC Analyst I, you are unafraid of navigating through necessary internal processes to facilitate a product you deeply believe in. You are responsible for conducting microbiological and chemical testing in support of manufacturing, raw materials, environmental systems, validations, projects, and shelf life studies. What You'll Be Doing Conduct microbiological and chemical testing (listed above) in support of manufacturing, raw materials, environmental systems, validations, projects, and shelf life studies. Work under minimum supervision. Use sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data. Perform assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of microbiology and chemistry principles. Complete all testing in a timely and appropriate manner. Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company procedures and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR and cGMP regulations. Participate in functions involving teams which impact production, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, and improve quality. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in biology/microbiology/chemistry or a related science required Effective written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as function effectively as a team member Ability to take work direction and thoroughly complete tasks on time Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships and foster cooperation Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows applications We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000 - $82,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
