HDR is currently seeking a Roadway Section Manager to join our Minnesota/Wisconsin team. In the role of Section Manager, we'll count on you to: Lead a team of roadway design staff supporting projects related to highways, urban roadways, drainage, planning, and environmental Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support Work with business group managers, business development leaders, accounting, project coordinators, and management as necessary for project delivery and marketing Function as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities Take administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections Be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews Be directly involved with public clients in marketing, project production and related issues. Serve as client manager for our major local clients. See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management Implement, monitor and support company policy Hire, train, develop and manage technical personnel Manage and develop multidiscipline teams Work cooperatively with Market Sector and Business Class leadership in local and national marketing and production efforts Requires in-office collaboration often (3-4 days a week on average) at HDR's St. Louis Park office Have experience within public agencies in Minnesota and Wisconsin Perform other duties as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree A minimum of 10 years experience Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role Strong communication and listening skills Ability to handle multiple assignments Good leadership and organizational skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
