Job Description
As a Bill Pay Specialist, you are a top-notch process manager. You work alongside clients and client teams, maintaining excellent communication among team members and your clients, in the execution of work such as:
Managing the downloading and payment of our clients' invoices
Communicate with clients and Matter teammates
Keep an accurate record of client accounts and outstanding balances
Monitoring cash balances
Securely handle client data and payment information
Generation of budgeting reports
Provide regular, accurate reports of billing data
Perform account reconciliations
Create custom financial reports
Research and resolve discrepancies
Assisting with various projects and firm-related initiatives

Qualifications
Exceptional communication and listening skills

Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in finance or accounting or at least 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper, Accounts Payable, or similar role
Thorough working knowledge and experience with Quicken, Quickbooks, Billpay.com or similar technology required
Proficient with Excel
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
Familiar with CRM, and data storage/management tools preferred
Ability to quickly understand and gain knowledge of new technology tools
Understanding the importance of security policies and ability to recognize and proactively report suspicious activity

Additional information
