Looking for an EXPERIENCED Diesel Mechanic!!!

salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

· Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers

· Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests

· Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules

· Collaborates with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicle and plans repairs

· Performs regular diagnostics tests on trucks

· Maintains accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles

· Contains cost by using warranty; evaluates service and parts options

· Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating procedures and troubleshooting breakdowns

· Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems

· Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards

· Other duties as assigned
