Material Handler Wanted - Forklift and Inventory Experience Required 1st Shift: Short Work Day on Fridays *$18.00 Per Hour G173 *
An assembly plant in Springfield, OH is seeking an experienced Stand up Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate is computer-literate with 3-5 years of inventory and stand-up forklift experience.
Key Responsibilities: - Pick and supply materials for production jobs - Organize and store materials properly following safety procedures - Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory issues - Identify and label parts, racks, bins and rows - Manage material movements systematically - Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory using ERP system - Stock production lines with required materials - Manage Kanban/VMI programs with buyers/planners - Stock inventory locations and utilize overstock locators - Properly handle non-conforming materials (NCM) and scrap
Requirements: - Prior experience as a Material Handler or in inventory control - Ability to operate stand-up forklifts (preferred) - Familiarity with inventory management software/ERP systems - Basic computer literacy - Attention to detail and commitment to safety
