About Houston

ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team

AV technician will provide white-glove support for the Management Committee suite at the ExxonMobil Spring campus. Role will also work with the AV architect and product owners to help provide input on AV product roadmaps. Engage in AV support, maintenance, and break/fix activities for MC suite and boardroom.

What you will do

• Provide audio visual technology support for key personnel, offices, rooms, and specialized set-ups

• First point of contact for VIP and critical personnel audio-visual support needs

• Provide daily white-glove support and user assistance and break/fix in key ExxonMobil Houston Campus locations

• Partners with and escalates issues to audio-visual architect, as needed

• Tracks audio-visual technology trends and performs root cause analysis

• Replaces broken equipment and sends to AV Ops for RMA or disposal

• Manages and maintains spare parts inventory

• On-site owner of VIP / white-glove audio-visual peripherals (mobile kit and presentation clickers)

• Performs daily check and periodic and proactive maintenance activities

• Supports all white-glove / VIP events in Houston area

• Dedicated to MC Suite and will be physically located in E4 - Always available to provide real-time support

• Proactively monitors health of MC + Boardroom AV systems

• Improves confidence with the AV systems

• Ensures AV technology is functioning properly at all times

• Delivers flawless meeting set-ups

• Enhances clarity of communication to AV engineers and CX

• Maintains technology integrity

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• Working and practical knowledge of audio-visual tech set contained in MC suite, boardroom, and VIP locations

• Understanding of trends and product roadmaps for current and new AV technology

• Ability to work quickly in high-pressure situations and triage issues / incidents as they happen and confidence to drive / push troubleshooting activities

• Professionalism

• Communication and collaboration skills

• Familiarity with ExxonMobil set-ups, buildings, and support centers to ensure proper support and continuity

• AV experience and technology know-how in operations

• 10+ Years of work experience in audio visual technology / support field

• Working knowledge of ExxonMobil Spring Campus audio visual technology set-up and support requirements, specifically MC / VIP / Energy Center locations
