Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for pulling and preparing orders for shipment, unloading trucks, and putting inventory away in the warehouse. Additional duties include helping with will-call orders, conducting periodic cycle counts, and maintaining general warehouse cleanliness. You will utilize computers and RF guns to manage sales orders and inventory, as well as operate pallet jacks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders for shipment

• Unload trucks and store inventory in the warehouse

• Assist with will-call orders

• Conduct periodic cycle counts

• Perform general warehouse cleanup and maintenance

• Use computer and RF guns to manage sales orders and inventory

• Operate pallet jack and forklift

Essential Skills

• General labor and loading/unloading trucks

• Customer service skills

• Motivation and drive for career growth

• Basic math and reading comprehension

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and 30lbs regularly

• Data entry skills and computer proficiency

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is a plus

• Outgoing and social personality

• Forklift experience preferred but not required

• Desire for growth into sales or operations roles

• Education from a Community College or University preferred but not required

• Ability to learn and perform sales, operations, and other related tasks

Work Environment

You will work in a warehouse that supplies electrical products in bulk to electrical contractors, the OEM and MRO markets, and the Government. The inventory includes commercial and industrial lighting, lamps, bulbs, fasteners, conduits, connectors, heat, fans, HVAC ducts, and more. You will be part of a small team consisting of 4-7 members.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, Washington.
