Volt is immediately hiring for a Director of Supply Chain in Spokane, WA

As a Director of Supply Chain you will:

Strategically lead all functionality of the Supply Chain. You are responsible for the management and direction of the purchasing and materials management functions which includes purchasing, receiving, inventorying, and distributing materials used for both aftermarket sales and new machine builds.

This work involves supporting our growth by creating a scalable supplier base to meet the needs of project builds and developing strategic relationship with supplies to meet pricing and lead time expectations

Your role will also have you assisting the organization in the evaluation, promotion, and implementation of recent technologies to support our customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a senior supply chain management role within a manufacturing environment. Preferably high variability/low volume and within a highly competitive industry.

• Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and achieving cost savings as well as reduction of lead times related to materials delivery.

• Demonstrated knowledge of component standardization and experience using composite materials in a manufacturing environment.
