Preferred candidates will have experience in heavy civil/highway construction. This position requires availability for overtime and successful completion of pre-employment drug testing. Job Summary: The Water Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating a 2000K-4000K water truck. This role includes performing preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections to ensure the safe operation of the assigned equipment. A current Commercial Driver's License with a Tanker endorsement is required. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members. * Produce high-quality work safely and efficiently at all times. * Provide feedback to ensure the availability of all necessary materials, tools, equipment, and information for the job. * Identify opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means, and methods, and be open to learning from others. * Share knowledge and teach others whenever possible. * Demonstrate high proficiency in preventative maintenance of all related equipment. * Eliminate waste in waiting, rework, transporting, material storage, and time. Job Requirements: * One to three years of experience in the industrial/commercial/heavy highway/civil construction industry with a thorough understanding of the operation of various types of trucks. * Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement is required. * Ability to read and understand safety and quality standards and effectively use all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work. * Practical verbal and written communication skills.
