Automotive Lab Instructor
Location: Lehi, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Pay / Hourly: $25.72
SUMMARY
As the Automotive Lab Instructor, you will assist the classroom instructor in preparing automotive technology students for employment as automotive technicians. You will provide the hands-on instruction necessary for students to attain ASE certification. Come enjoy the rewards of helping our students succeed!

MTECH tuition waiver is available after three months, to employees who work minimum of 15 hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervision of lab work with emphasis that all safety practices are followed
Performs spot checks and corrects, guides, and facilitates that proper industry practices and procedures are being followed at all times while students are working in the shop
Maintains shop hand tool storage and tool maintenance
Ensures student success by being proactive and self-motivated to help keep the program running smoothly
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent is required
ASE Certification in course to be taught OR 5 years’ experience in industry as a technician with expectation to become ASE certified in each course taught with one year of hire.
