Summary About the position: This position is at Southwest Grill and Pizza Hut Express at Club Eifel on Spangdahlem AB in Germany. May be required to work Monday thru Sunday, day and night shifts. Responsibilities Responsible for/or assists in the planning, coordinating, management and inspection of all phases of assigned food activity to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability, and sales. Responsible for analyzing data and preparing reports in order to keep operations running smoothly and profits increasing. Work alongside front-line employees, when needed, preparing food, delivering orders, operating the cash register and other various tasks. Will be responsible for interviewing and selecting new employees, as well as evaluating current employees' performance. Will make and post work schedules in a timely manner, as well as approving/disapproving leave requests. Performs other duties as assigned. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience: Must have knowledge of management principles and practices through administrative, professional, technical or other work. Must have gained knowledge in a fast food/casual restaurant, club, cafeteria, or similar establishment. Must have experience and knowledge in food preparation and characteristics of food. Be able to coordinate, plan and time meal preparation, to eliminate time and food waste. Tri Service food code experience and appropriate safety certification(s) a must. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit. Probationary period may be required.
