Area Agency On Aging 1-b MOBILITY SPECIALIST in Southfield, Michigan
The Mobility Specialist is the point of contact for the myride2 mobility management service. They respond to calls and email requests for transportation, assess mobility needs and schedule transportation accordingly. They will also review and update the database, identify new resources for mobility management, coordinate with available mobility and transportation services, compile information and reports, market and outreach as needed, assist in funding and advocacy efforts.
Duties Include:
Answer and respond to phone calls and email requests from myride2 phone line and website. Assess mobility needs and schedule transportation as appropriate.
Review, utilize and update myride2 database.
Identify new resources and coordinate with available mobility and transportation services, and existing myride2 resources.
Assist with marketing, outreach and advocacy as needed.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in general studies
At least 1-2 years call center experience
Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team setting
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and be able to type at least 40 wpm
Must also have problem solving skills and accuracy in data inputting
Excellent customer service skills
Experience working with seniors and Adults with Disabilities (AWD) is preferred
