Job Title: Truck/Trailer Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Truck/Trailer Mechanic to join our small, family-owned shop located in South St. Paul. This position offers a great opportunity for candidates possessing a mechanical skillset, and willing to learn a trade on the job. It is an excellent chance to grow your career in the truck/trailer industry. Candidates without any tools will be expected to purchase a basic tool set within their first few months on the contract. We are seeking individuals with a variety of skills and experiences, such as previous repair work on cars, trucks, trailers, forklifts, or any kind of equipment. High-level mechanical assembly or machine building, or current work as a lube tech also counts. Hard Skills

• Experience working on cars performing PMs/engine work

• Experience with tractor equipment on a farm

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in South Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in one of our two shops. The truck shop is climate controlled. The trailer shop is currently being renovated with new floors, walls, and lights to create a more comfortable workspace.
