Job Summary:** The Skilled Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor various machines used in the production process.
• Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper functioning.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to prevent downtime.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Record and report production data and machine performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machine operation or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in operating various types of machinery and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required (up to [insert weight] pounds).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plus.

Work Environment:
