Senior Supervisor, IT Operations

The Senior Supervisor, Data Center will follow Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), Client Data Standards and Business Continuity Plans (BCP). This individual will be responsible for Supervisory of On-Site Personnel. Point-in-time accuracy of all DC Assets, and asset tracking, work in partnership within facility team to coordinate preventative maintenance on owned systems which support the data center. They will ensure compliance with all applicable laws, corporate policies and procedures including Information Protection (IP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, ISO, PCI, PHI, and NIST.

  Work Schedule (Monday – Friday 8-5, Weekend work as needed for special projects)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Data Center Technicians

• Clear understanding of Data Center SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)

• Assign Technician duties per shift.

• Available for Evening and weekend projects to manage/assist with changes and work completion.

• Review work completed is satisfactory and meets expectations and is fully delivered as expected.

• Review Daily/Weekly Service Now Incidents, Tickets and Changes for technician(s) and verify updates/closures are occurring based off SLA requirements.

• Attend needed CAB (Change Advisory Board) in representation of East Windsor DC.

• Attend meetings for projects related to Data Center East (New and existing)

• Mentor/Train employees on standard Operating Procedures and Data Center Standards of racking, stacking and trouble shooting issues.

• Report to Senior managers on issues that could effect Businesses and possible SLA’s.

• Communication skills are very important- this individual will communicate by email, phone, and instant messaging

• Experience using MS Visio for rack elevation layouts.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in MS Office products

• IT Troubleshooting

• Familiarity with servers - Virtual, blade and physical (VM Ware, Cisco UCS, HP 3Par)

• Familiarity with network principles (Cisco)

• Enterprise Data Center Experience

• Prior experience managing teams ensuring performance standards are met

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary for this role is $70,000-$92,000.
