Our Design and Technology Enablement teams are working on the development of a broad portfolio of semiconductor technologies ranging from 350 nm down to 12nm including FD-SOI, RF, High-Voltage and automotive applications.
Introduction
GlobalFoundries is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern to work in the Design Enablement Organization. The successful candidate will help transform data, develop software, and validate solutions that will drive the development and qualification of PDKs.
We are sustaining a trainee program with primary purpose to introduce young talented individuals to modern EDA tools and technologies and prepare them to work as Software engineers in the field of micro- and nano-electronics. Currently, we are looking to fill open positions in our trainee program. The candidates should be students in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Telecommunications or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
Some programming language background (i.e. Python, Perl)
Preferred Qualifications
Skills in Perl, SQL, GNU make, shell is a plus
Good knowledge of electronic devices and semiconductor theory
Previous experience with CAD systems (Cadence IC, Cadence OrCAD, Protel or similar) is a plus
Experience with data engineering English proficiency
