TEKsystems is hiring a medical administrative assistant to join our client onsite in Sioux Falls!

Description:

Perform transcription services.

Perform tasks as instructed by case manager. Examples include verification of appointments, process and distribute reports, complete demographic information on regulatory forms, process and distribute reports, request medical records and fax materials.

Notification phone calls as directed by case manager (i.e. reminder phone calls to consumer for medical appointments).

Enter referrals in ALARISWARE.

Release of Information form management directed by individual case managers.

Additional tasks assigned by supervisor.

Responsible for complying with IT security requirement and policies.

Responsible for safeguarding the company and IT passwords.

Responsible for notifying the company of any IT security incidents per policy 16.0 Information Security Incident Management.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8 hour shift between 10:00am - 7:00pm

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2 years experience in administrative/office support role

1 year experience in healthcare/transcription

1 year medical terminology
