Overview

The role of Senior Specialist, Communications will report into the Director of Communications, Asia Pacific, and will play an integral part in supporting the implementation of the communications agenda across the Asia Pacific region.

Role

• Participate in framing the company proposition to a range of stakeholders through powerful content and event executions

• Work with functions across the business to deliver on and project manage plans around APAC-level initiatives and events:

o External: Conferences, trade shows, customer-facing events, media engagement

o Internal: C-suite townhalls and executive visits, year-end wrap reports, internal memos

• Support communications for a variety of audiences, including employees, media, customers, consumers and industry stakeholders

• Manage internal and external communications platforms

• Support social media executions with an emphasis on LinkedIn

• Work closely with global and in-market communications teams to grow awareness of the company’s business priorities and future direction, including events, employee engagement initiatives, media and digital opportunities

• Closely manage stakeholders and build positive working relationships

• Work actively and strategically with agencies, writers and vendors

All about you

• Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience

• Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to develop new and original content, or to re-purpose existing content, especially for social and internal channels, with minimal guidance

• Strong ability in working with media outlets to pitch stories and build relationships with target outlets/journalists

• Compelling and demonstrable social and digital related experience

• Impactful writing and editing skills with a commitment to the highest quality standards

• Keen eye for visual communications and graphic design

• Solid project management skills. Should have proven experience working with creative agencies, writers, consultants and vendors

• Must be team oriented, able to/keen on working in a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse environment, with an interest in multicultural communications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or Public Relations or associated disciplines preferred

• Fluency/native proficiency in English is mandatory, other language proficiency welcome
