We are currently seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer (Test Automation) to join our team. This role is a crucial technical leadership position responsible for leading the testing engineering practices that ensure we consistently develop & deploy high quality digital healthcare solutions to our patients, healthcare professionals, and communities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide technical design and development processes to ensure adherence to architectural principles and engineering best practices. Identify and address technical obstacles and inefficiencies that hinder the team's progress.

  • Development and maintenance of tests plans and test scripts aligned with product requirements, while maintaining required test coverage.

  • Identify and mitigate common failure patterns in delivery practices to prevent future issues, improving skills, processes, or tooling as necessary. Contribute to incident response and post-mortem analyses, assessing the impact or value of issues encountered.

  • Contribute to the global and regional engineering standards, tools and frameworks relating to test automation engineering, partnering with other engineering leaders to integrate these standards into the software development and delivery processes.

  • Play the role of "Lead Quality Coach" to advocate for "the quality mindset" within the regional product teams (across all sectors) through coaching, mentoring and leading by example.

  • Influence vendor selection strategy for test automation capabilities to ensure the best technology partners, solutions and innovations are brought into the organization.

  • Stay on top of the newest technology trends in distributed system design and test automation, and applying these new insights to push the boundaries of our practices and processes.

Qualifications

Preferred Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education in the fields related to Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields

  • Demonstrated ability in full stack software engineering, with a significant emphasis (at least 2 years) on leading test automation initiatives.

  • Expertise in modern software development (E.g. Software craftmanship, BDD, TDD, Clean Code & etc) and test automation technologies (E.g. Selenium), frameworks, and methodologies (E.g. test automation pyramid).

  • Shown success in implementing Agile and Lean development principles, with a dedication to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Good problem-solving capabilities and a hands-on approach to overcoming complex technical challenges.

  • Experience in contributing to discussions around new standards and revisions to existing ones.

  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate effectively across different functions.

  • Experience in mentoring, coaching and teaching other technology professionals

  • Certifications in Cloud Architecture (E.g. AWS Certified Solution Architect), SCRUM Mastering (CSM/PSM), and Test Automation (E.g. ISTQB Test Manager / Agile Technical Tester / Test Automation Engineer) will be advantageous, but not required.
