Job Description:

Purpose of Position:

The Regional Financial Analyst is a key member of the APAC finance team. The role's purpose is to provide effective monthly regional management reporting and help support the APAC leadership team in surfacing the right facts, driving necessary decisions, and partnering with stakeholders to facilitate the needed outcomes. The role will involve working closely with finance counterparts in global, regional, and country teams.

Scope:

Region: APAC

Business: Envista product portfolio with identified product lines for APAC

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to

Planning and Actual Reporting:

  • Prepare templates in preparation for business reviews and forecasting process

  • Support the delivery of financial reporting and planning requirements, monthly and quarterly financial reporting, forecast and budget updates, and long-term strategic plans.

  • Work with country finance to ensure modeling for complex forecast and annual budget plan are streamlined.

Analysis:

  • Prepare and provide accurate and timely analysis, reporting and commentary on business performance and action plans.

  • Provide analysis and commentary on the region’s performance and plans. Support decision-making and action planning.

  • Internal control testing via balance sheet review exercise

Business analysis & Partnering:

  • Support APAC FM to partner with regional and global commercial leaders on regional growth and profitability improvement initiatives

  • Supports the regional marketing team in marketing analysis

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reporting and analysis

  • Preparation of monthly expense analysis

  • Calculation of monthly sales rebates & quarterly sales commissions

Projects (ad-hoc):

  • Support the APAC finance team in delivering finance projects and reviewing presentation decks as and when required by the business.

  • Assist finance leaders in driving regional initiatives and improvement projects, reporting alignment, and analyzing regional investment and other capital requirements.

Measurement

  • On-time reporting

  • Accuracy of actual reporting

  • Accuracy of forecast

Job Requirements:

Requirement for the Position

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a commercial organization, preferably in an MNC environment. Previous experience is an added advantage.

  • Must be proficient in both written and conversational English

  • Must have advanced Excel skills/knowledge.

  • Experience in Tableau

  • Experience in Hyperion Financial Management System is critical; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred) is also beneficial.

  • No travel is required unless necessary for project-related work.

  • Self-motivated, self-organized, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

  • Proactive and assertive.

  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and meticulous.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
