Description
Amazon seeks a high-judgement, experienced, and self-motivated internal communications specialist to join the innovative team working on Operations Internal Communications (OIC) Global Campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing team with a global remit focused on ensuring consistency in the Amazonian employee experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about building creative internal communications that have clear, measurable and definable outcomes that are rooted in a data driven approach. Supporting key tentpole campaigns, this role will exercise strong judgment to ensure messaging builds on global narratives. To be successful in this role you will need excellent communications skills, a high bar for clear and actionable writing, ability to look around corners, work independently, and a talent for effective collaboration across diverse audiences. You should have experience working to high standards and under tight deadlines.
Key job responsibilities
Work closely with OIC International Campaigns Lead to drive end-to-end implementation of global campaigns with a focus on our global tentpole moments. This will include working with wider OIC colleagues to develop inclusive campaigns and support them in localizing content
Support the work of Global Campaigns Leaders with fast-moving communications that ladder up to global goals
Partner with Content and Channels Lead for the APAC and MENA region on campaigns content, drive standardization on content disseminated across channels to align with our global best practices, set up mechanisms, and submissions for approvals to ensure campaigns are on track for deployment in region
Work closely with the Content and Channels Lead in the APAC and MENA region on regional content amplification requests from business stakeholders
Collaborate with other members of the Operations Internal Communications team globally on larger communications initiatives and business priorities
Actively build relationships across Amazon to Invent and Simplify as we deliver for customers.
Be the employee experience advocate through all strategies and decision-making

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
Exemplary written and oral communication skills
Program management experience
Proven track record of working effectively in an international environment with people across a large, complex, matrix organization to create and launch innovative, and successful, solutions
High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and get work done
Familiarity with Content Management Systems
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and ability to form cohesive and effective outcomes
Commitment to equity, and inclusion with experience communicating complex subject matter to a diverse audience
Excellent project/operational management, analytical and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated high judgement in communicating sensitive, topics particularly in narrow timeframes
