Overview
Overview:
The Accountant will be primarily responsible for the Regional Accounts Receivable (AR) function, while also overseeing full accounting functions for the Philippines, Vietnam, and Korea. This role involves driving internal controls compliance related to AR functions and coordinating insurance-related matters for the APAC regions. Additionally, the Accountant will participate in month-end reporting for a business unit.

Responsibilities
Manage the daily operational AR/collections activities and the month-end/quarter-end close process, including preparation of sales, gross margin, AR, collections, and cash flow reports to ensure accuracy in financial accounts and meet deadlines.
Perform monthly intercompany billing/netting.
Oversee accounting-related activities for SEA countries and Korea.
Uphold financial controls by covering AR/debtors reconciliations, KYC and more.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders on receivables and collection matters, including resolving irregularities and assisting with queries.
Provide recommendations to streamline the AR reporting process and enhance systems.
Perform month-end closing and reporting for business unit.
Coordinate insurance renewals for the region.
Review sales rebates agreements with customers, verify computations and accruals.
Manage monthly petty cash disbursements and reimbursements
Assist with periodic financial closing activities and external audits, providing support to finance management as required, including ad-hoc duties or special projects.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Accounting / Finance
3 – 5 years of relevant experience in credit control, Full-sets Accounting, Management reporting and analysis
Familiarity with ERP will be a plus
Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and presentation skills.
