As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer , you will make the transformer mechanical design, prepare the all 2D&3D drawings and BOM.

What you’ll do:

• Preparing general arrangement drawings according to electrical design outputs in proposal stage.

• Preparing final approval drawings after purchase orders.

• Preparing all 2D&3D production drawings and bill of material list.

• Providing technical support to production.

• Leading the design and production developments.

• Leading the transformer optimization process in terms of mechanical design.

• Preparing technical training for teammates and other support departments.

• Involving & lead the internal quality problem solving process.

• Providing technical support to find & evaluate the alternative suppliers and lead the project if needed.

• Monitoring and reporting of production & test result based on design values.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Industrial Engineering.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in transformer design

• High level technical knowledge of transformer mechanical design, experience in distribution transformer design is a big plus.

• Strong knowledge of transformer production and materials

Skills:

• Applicable procedures, company rules, guidelines, (national and international) laws and regulations, norms and standards, safety, quality and environmental regulations.

• Good knowledge of Solidworks and Autocad.

• PLM / PDM experience and well understanding of it.

• Good ERP knowledge, SAP is plus.
