Job Title: Hardware Engineering ManagerJob Description

As a Hardware Engineering Manager, you will serve as the subject matter expert in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, directly managing a dynamic team of 10-15 Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include leading product development from conception through sustainable manufacturing, ensuring high performance and training of team members, and recruiting top talent to meet project demands. You will work closely with Engineering Directors to align hardware team efforts with the company's overall goals, manage performance, and foster a strong team culture. Additionally, you will handle budgeting, strategic planning, and contribute to proposal development while occasionally assisting projects in a technical or Program Management capacity.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.

Work Environment

You will work in a modern office environment, which includes a well-equipped testing and build bench across from the main office space. The team enjoys a great lunch area with complimentary drinks and snacks. All manufacturing activities are conducted at a nearby site. The culture here is dynamic and impactful, with a track record of promoting talent from within. Dress code is casual (Jeans & Polo), and the standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
