JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Food & Beverage Marketing is a key member of the Greater China consumer operations team to drive and execute Food and Beverage (F&B) strategy in Greater China. The position will report into the Director, Premium & Select Brands & F&B Marketing, GC. Key responsibilities will include engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute all related F&B marketing initiatives that will ultimately drive F&B revenue for the region. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time. This position will work closely with other departments within the Continent Offices (e.g., Food and Beverage Operations, Loyalty, Marketing) as well as with senior leadership.

The job location will be in Hong Kong or Shanghai.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in the hotel sales and marketing or related professional area.

OR

  • Degree from an accredited university in eCommerce, Marketing, Business Administration or related major and a minimum of 6 years’ experience in the sales, marketing, digital, eCommerce or related professional area; loyalty marketing or agency experience.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Portfolio & Loyalty Marketing

  • Manage F&B content strategy and localization for Greater China including master calendar and messaging house

  • Support planning and execute Continent-led brand and marketing campaigns for Greater China market (including Marriott Bonvoy’s Top 52 Restaurants and Bars in APAC)

  • Support Marriott Bonvoy member marketing and communications including F&B messaging and content development

  • Support ongoing marketing efforts Club Marriott, Marriott International’s paid F&B dining program, in Greater China, including WeChat account strategy, promotion opportunities, and creative approvals

Marketing Platforms

  • Assist GC Marketing team in the implementation of the corporate CRM and distributed marketing platforms strategy: optimized campaign execution, content management, customer database management, digital performance marketing and analysis

Training and Development

  • Support content design and localization of F&B marketing tools and training programs for field marketing and property teams

  • Deliver training to market-wide workshops in partnership with Operations

Stakeholder and Project Management

  • Establish and maintain close relationship with cross-discipline teams including Greater China F&B Marketing, Marketing, Loyalty, and F&B operations

  • Provide timely updates to the regional and continent leadership on F&B Marketing initiatives including project status updates

  • Provide core project management services including developing and driving implementation plans and ensure timely delivery on milestones
