Job Description:
The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs the Regional Technical Security Risk Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Act as liaison with global technical security risk team.
Provide security advise to IT teams and business units.
Establish GCA Regional Technical Security Baseline in addition to global framework as necessary (e.g. MLPS requirements, CIS 3.0 standards).
Maintain GCA regional ISRC service catalog (under global framework).
Manage regional ISRC unified intake process (under global framework).
Manage security risk assessment in region (under global framework).
Manage regional security exception requests (under global framework).
Coordinate with global technical security risk team to conduct Cloud/SaaS security risk assessment.
Coordinate with global technical security risk team to conduct product/application risk assessment.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Four years of IT technical security management, internal control or audit experience in large companies. Experience at leading consulting firms is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiar with MLPS, ISO27001, CIS Benchmarks List, Cloud security and other security norms, standards & frameworks.
Strong technical knowledge on mainstream IT technologies.
Excellent language skills in both English and Chinese, in both written and verbal.

Willing to and capable of hands-on tasks and result oriented.
Effective communications skills, including both written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to translate security principles into business terms.
Foundational technical expertise, including both business acumen and strategic thinking.
