Job Title: Associate SQE

  • This is site based role focusing on providing high quality vendor management

Location: remote

What you will do:

Open with a strong attention-grabbing summary.

  • The Associate will assist SQE defend supplier qualification process , improve supplier performance, participate into the investigations of any rejected supplied products, components or customer complaints linked to supplied products and components, implement corrective actions or quality plans internally as well as at the suppliers to prevent repeat non-conformances.

Responsibilities

  • Assist SQE to address the nonconformities which are caused by suppliers in production quarantine area and categorize them according to failure mode and failure cause;

  • Assist SQE to complete the root cause analysis & corrective / preventative actions of supplier quality issues from quality audit, internal/external complaints until entire case closed;

  • Participate into supplier annually continuous improvement program.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Knowledge & experience in metal fabrication including drawing reading, basic metallurgy & surface treatment.

  • Knowledge in using problem solving & quality management tools (8D, 5Why, Cause and Effect, Run chart, Pareto, etc).

  • Willing to Gemba / ease in communication / speak with data.
