Join us and let's Imagine a better way together. Position Summary: The primary function of this position is to work on proactive quality for medical device packaging. The Quality Assurance Specialist will also assist in all quality assurance functions and help move the plant to a total quality manufacturing facility. Position will work closely with Customers and all levels of the company. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Responsible for Customer interaction on all quality issues/concerns and compliance related activities Document nonconformances and rework activity in our Quality Management System (QMS) Assist in the most cost-effective rework solutions. Lead root cause analysis exercises. Assist in corrective and preventative action implementation. Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions. Verify outgoing product accuracy with a Certificate of Compliance. Facilitate inspection activities for non-conforming product. Create/update written standard work. Assist in maintaining and developing our Quality Management System to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Quality Manual, and current company objectives. Participate in companywide continuous improvement projects. Skills and Knowledge: Supplier quality or Customer quality experience in manufacturing. Experience with ISO 9001, Root Cause Analysis, SCAR The ability to perform and understand product basic testing procedures and test equipment. Must follow and support all quality, management and corporate policies and instructions. Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft Office suite of products experience is required. Must be self-motivated and the ability to prioritize tasks. Must work well in a team and the ability to perform with little supervision. Able to read and interpret written specifications and maintain documentation required internally and by the customer. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in any language (including ASL) preferred Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking and sitting. Manual dexterity for repetitive work Infrequent reaching, bending, and stooping. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The national pay range for this role is $45,000 - $65,000/year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
