THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION TO OUR CLIENT

Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician

Location: Seymour, IN

Pay Range: $31 - $34+ / hourly

What’s the Job?

  • This is a third shift opportunity and will be M-F from 10:30pm-7:00am. An additional shift premium of $1.50/hour.

  • Build, repair and prepare articles for testing and associated auxiliary equipment. ·

  • Install test article into test structure (test cell, table, rig, etc.). Perform tests in accordance with set test methods. Perform testing in accordance with established test procedures and methodology. Consistently provide accurate and reliable test results.

  • In-depth understanding of the function on of the test equipment used to perform test and the contribution of the test equipment to the validity of the test results.

  • Configure and operate data acquisition systems; analyze and review data for appropriateness.

What’s Needed?

  • High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required.

  • Regionally applicable certification or two-year Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.

  • Licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
