Copeland Oaks, a non for-profit continuing care retirement community, has current job openings for full and part time Cooks in our Dietary Department. Copeland Oaks is located on a beautiful 250-acre village like setting in Sebring Ohio, between Salem and Alliance.
The Cooks play a vital role in the service we provide. The Cooks prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for Copeland Oaks and Crandall Medical Center residents, guests, and employees and they also prepare food for special diets. Our Dietary Department operates on varied hours/varied shifts.

Qualifications:
- Six months experience in food prep, cooking, or short/order grill work.
- ServSafe certification or other food safety certification preferred (will train if needed).
- The Cook must be able to read, write, and follow recipes and menus.
- Requires constant standing, walking, pushing and pulling, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Copeland Oaks follows all protocols as issued by OSHA, the Ohio Department of Health and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Applicants who have disqualifying offenses under Senate Bill 160 may be disqualified from employment. As part of the pre-employment process, Copeland Oaks conducts Criminal Background checks through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation (BCI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Crandall Medical Center also conducts pre-employment Drug Testing.
