The Sponsored Products Detail Page Marketplace Intelligence team is responsible for ranking, allocation and pricing of ads on Amazon Detail Pages. A Senior Manager for Ad Allocation and Pricing will be responsible for defining our business and technical strategy for one of our most impactful marketplace controls, creating lasting value for Amazon and advertisers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead business, science and engineering strategy and roadmap for Sponsored Products Ads allocation, pricing controls and the models and systems to blend organic and ad recommendations across multiple components of the detail page.

• Oversee development, testing, launch and improvement of models designed to Ads allocation and pricing.

• Develop state of the art experimental approaches and ML models.

Basic qualifications

• 10+ years of applied ML experience in deploying ML solutions to customer facing products

• 2+ years hands-on experience leading multiple ML teams to design products that satisfy a customer need

• Track record of delivering large-scale and high-quality ML solutions

• Experience using ML to deliver on business goals

• 5+ years of experience managing a large scale ads or e-commerce marketplace or pricing functions

Preferred qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or related field (or requisite relevant experience)

• 5 years of experience in Ads

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $196,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $340,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
