How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice: As one of key members of our finance & accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the global financial planning and analytics function, providing support to the global FP&A manager with analytics insights and reporting to help on the decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in IT and R&D and the regional finance teams to develop and implement financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis and strategic planning.

As a Senior Analyst, Global Financial Planning and Analytics, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

  • Prepare ad-hoc financials analysis and reports as needed to support decision making process.

  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure support on development and implementation of financial plans, consolidate financial data.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

  • Standardize financials across all regions (reports, allocations, visual data)

  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variances analysis, management reporting and submission to Unilever.

  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics, variances, and trends to senior management, identifying areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.

  • Business partner to global functions R&D and IT.

  • Develop a financial process in R&D and IT departments providing more visibility on projects, expenses, depreciation and financials variances analysis.

The details:

  • Location: Hybrid preferred, open to Remote candidates

  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: In Office 2 Days a Week, Remote 3 Days Weekly

  • Hours: Typical PST Business Hours, some flexibility

  • Physical requirements: Ability to handle both sitting and screen time for long periods of time

  • Travel requirements: Up to 15%, 2-3 Annual Visits to HQ.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years minimum of experience in financial planning and analysis or similar role.

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Financial software application adaptive knowledge is preferred.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements analysis.

  • Communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail driven and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to quickly build relationships across the organization.

  • Experience in preparing presentations and presenting analysis to non-finance team and senior management.

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:

$70,000- $90,000 USD/annually

We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
