Robert Half Regional Sales Manager in Seattle, Washington
Description
We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager in the Logistics industry, based in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will be securing and managing new regional and local account business, developing strategic sales initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders in various industry verticals.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage new regional and local accounts via a targeted sales approach.
• Foster and sustain robust relationships with mid-level management and key decision-makers in the Semiconductor, Automotive, Electronics, and other industry sectors.
• Successfully achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for the overall territory and individual accounts.
• Strategically develop sales initiatives, identify key decision-makers, and provide tailored solutions.
• Offer support to the Regional Sales Director, Department Managers, and Branch Managers by providing coaching and conducting joint sales calls.
• Maintain personal contact with large key accounts to ensure effective customer service.
• Understand customers' needs and offer appropriate products and services in a timely manner.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and emerging markets to expand sales targets.
• Establish and nurture industry contacts that lead to sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director, Branch Management, department managers, customer service, and operations staff to establish a clear communication path for handling new customers.
Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage interactions with potential and existing customers
• Familiarity with accounting functions to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards
• Experience in billing functions to manage transactions and maintain financial records
• Understanding of budget processes to plan and control spending within the organization
• Expertise in campaign planning to design and execute effective sales strategies
• Knowledge in channel marketing to optimize product distribution and sales through various channels
• Proven track record in equipment sales to meet sales targets and increase profitability
• Proficiency in logistics and distribution to ensure efficient delivery of products to customers TalentMatch®
