Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join one of our largest retail clients in the Seattle, WA area. You will be joining the Cloud Foundations team within the Infrastructure and Cloud services organization. We are seeking someone with expertise in IaC, CI/CD pipelines, programming languages, infrastructure security and cloud network. You will be responsible for implementing security, performance, and reliability improvements as directed, identifying process gaps, driving projects, and enhancing automation for efficiency and scalability. Additional responsibilities include:

Utilize IaC technologies to build infrastructure in AWS/Azure

Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines

Demonstrate proficiency in a programming language

Utilize IAM frameworks in cloud environments

Troubleshoot network issues, including AWS VPC, VPN, DNS, R53, ACM

Develop automations using serverless technologies

Monitor with Amazon CloudWatch, debugging with AWS CloudTrail

Implement GitOps leveraging GitLab

Skills and Requirements

4+ years of experience in an AWS environment working with 50+ accounts

Experience with AWS CloudFormation and Terraform

Experience native developer tools like AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions

Proficient with Python or Golang

Serverless experience including lambda, step functions, etc.

Experience supporting platforms rather than applications on an enterprise level null
