ICP Group Production and Shiping Administrator in Seaford, Delaware

Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Production and Shipping Administrator will support plant operations by successfully performing daily Production, Inventory, Purchasing and Logistic activities. 

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Field all incoming calls and direct to the appropriate persons as required

  • Strictly follow plant EH&S guidelines

  • Order plant materials or outside services, issue associated purchase orders and receive related products in the operating system

  • Scan documentation to support corporate AP department and timely payment of invoices 

  • Track and post temporary employee timesheets  

  • Coordinate the shipment of materials by notifying carriers, setting delivery appointments or customer pickups

  • Print and organize shipping documentation to facilitate a high level of accurate and on time shipments     

  • Audit transfer paperwork and complete transfer receipts in the SYSPRO ERP system. Communicate deficiencies to the shipping plants should they arise.

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with corporate Supply Chain when incoming material transfers are required

  • Enter weekly cycle counts into excel files and print performance charts to be shared with PLT

  • Attend daily or weekly production, planning meetings

  • Attend or participate in plant safety meetings and activities

  • Post daily production for finished goods, bulk and intermediate items

  • Provide support for continuous improvement activities and lean manufacturing projects.

  • Safely perform all other duties as required by the Plant Manger on an as needed basis

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with SharePoint.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to communicate in a positive manner with plant employees to corporate officers

  • Plant experience in production, AP/AR functions, quality or logistics

  • High level of proficiency with Excel and the use of Pivot Tables and Lookup Functions

  • Strong math skills

  • Solid working knowledge of PowerPoint

  • Experience with SYSPRO ERP operating system
