Advanced Engineering Technician
Scottsdale, AZ
Contract Position
\$27.96-\$32.96/Hour
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Support engineering activities including the design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems and specialized test equipment.
Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to construct, troubleshoot, and calibrate tools and systems.
Conduct and document statistically-based experiments to define process parameters and recommend process improvements.
Develop and implement solutions for complex process enhancements and document results.
Design and fabricate basic tooling and fixtures to support unique tasks.
Analyze and interpret data to identify cause-effect relationships and propose resolutions or improvements.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
- Associate\'s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in the use of fabrication tools and the ability to fabricate complex hardware.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted technical theories and their applications.
