Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer role in the Hospitality industry located in SCHAUMBURG, Illinois. The role will involve a variety of responsibilities related to contract negotiation, providing strategic legal and business advice, and managing a high volume of legal work. The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced work environment and will be expected to tackle complex challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and draft commercial / IP agreements and other legal documents with customers, technology partners, service providers, vendors, and licensors.

• Develop templates for our products and services, including for our new business ventures.

• Create new tools and processes to enhance how our team supports our business partners.

• Develop and present training programs on contracts and substantive law topics.

• Support mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and other corporate initiatives.

• Provide leadership as an advisor and a partner for business team projects.

• Contribute as a solutions-oriented legal advisor and risk manager.

• Handle vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, master agreements, contract negotiation, and commercial negotiations.

• Negotiate contracts for software as a service (SAAS) solutions.

• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and work as part of a larger legal organization.

You will be evaluated in part based upon your performance of the tasks listed in this job description. Requirements • Must hold a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state

• Requires proven experience in the hospitality industry

• Proficient in handling Vendor Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Master Agreements

• Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Commercial Negotiations

• Ability to negotiate contracts effectively

• Experience with SAAS - Software As A Service is necessary

• Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Should possess good organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team

• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to the ethical standards of the legal profession

• Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Must have strong knowledge and understanding of the laws and regulations related to the hospitality industry

• Proficient in using legal research tools and software

• Ability to provide practical legal advice and solutions.
