Great Lakes Management Co. Maintenance Technician - Floating in Savage, Minnesota
Great Lakes Management is looking for a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician! 40 hours per week, flexible hours, generally 8am to 4:30pm. This role will be required to travel to multiple GLM locations, majority within Scott County, to provide maintenance support as needed. This position is required to be a part of an on-call rotation, two weeks off-call and one week on-call. Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently. Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues. Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns Maintain the grounds, trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc. Test the resident security systems as required. Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc. Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed. Maintenance Technician Qualifications: Minimum of one year of maintenance experience required. Boiler License preferred, but not required. Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows. Ability to motivate oneself and work independently. Current, valid driver's license. Schedule: Typical schedule will be two days a week in Savage, MN, one day in New Prague, one day in Shakopee, and one day floating. This position is required to be a part of an on-call rotation, two weeks off-call and one week on-call in Scott County.
