Position Hours: Part Time FLSA: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: To ensure that our customers receive excellent service on a store level and ensure the proper display of our product.
This is a Part Time Position
Sales Territory: Lakeshore from Holland to Ludington, Grand Rapids, Fremont, Cedar Springs, Big Rapids, Ionia, Greenville, also included cities on the west side of Lansing.
Responsibilities:
Provide high quality service to assigned sales territory as required to meet specific store needs.
Performing all sales, service, marketing, and merchandising activity in assigned sales territory.
Gain additional product facings.
Sell in secondary promotional locations.
Merchandise and pack out our products according to company standards.
Identify, present, and sell to store management opportunities to increase store sales.
Identify stores in the sales territory that are not current customers.
Monitor competitive activities in the territory and communicate with the Sales Director.
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in sales merchandising preferred.
3+ years’ experience in the grocery industry preferred.
Associates degree preferred.
Ability and willingness to perform repeated bending and lifting to 50 pounds sometimes in close quarters.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people at all organizational levels.
Demonstrates positive attitude when dealing with customers and coworkers.
Ability to learn from mistakes and possess effective listening skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Must have reliable transportation.
