Eaton Corporation Sr Financial Analyst in Santa Rosa Jauregui, Mexico

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Sr Financial Analyst.

What you’ll do:

Job summary

As part of the Finance group, this position will be participate properly accounting of the balance sheet and P&L for multiple ledgers and legal entities, in accordance with Eaton Financial Policy, Mexican GAAP and US GAAP.This role is instrumental in leading the development of and analysis of forecasts and actual performance and operational metrics, as well as being responsible for the plant budget process with a focus on cost savings projects and capital expenditures.

Job responsibilities

A. Support in the process of budget and forecast

B. Review and prepare weekly month end close to prevent financial impacts

C. Encore rolling forecast data loading

D. Manufacturing expenses control, admin expenses control and fixed expenses control and implement budget by areas project

E. Support in external and internal audits

F. Assist accounting manager in observing and implementing internal controls in plant, in the development and maintenance of internal procedures aligned to corporate and divisional polices

G. Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and completeness

H. Coordinate and consolidate financial budgets, forecast and Profit Plan activities

I. Sales & margin analysis

J. Continue improvement projects #LI-DG2

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in business, accountant, finance or similar

  • +5 Experience in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting is a plus

  • Microsoft office, Knowledge of SAP transactions, Root cause analyst, Technical capability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operational data/reports, Power BI, Power automate, ENCORE and HFM

  • GR, Ethical, Transparent, Accountable.

  • Knowledge of SAP is a must. HFM & Encore knowledge is desirable.

  • Advanced English
