Description We are offering a contract for an Accounting Specialist role in the machinery manufacturing industry based in Santa Rosa, California. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be handling various accounting and administrative tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll, and account management.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Uphold comprehensive and updated customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner

• Oversee customer accounts and implement necessary actions

• Support with month-end closing activities

• Assist in managing accounts payable

• Help with payroll processes and tasks

• Maintain a systematic and efficient accounting filing system

• Offer administrative support to management as needed

• Work collaboratively with vendors and department managers on routine tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Machinery Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Familiarity with Full Cycle Payroll operations

• Basic Bookkeeping skills are essential

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field preferred

• Ability to work with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Ethical conduct and responsibility to maintain confidentiality.
