As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging
procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an
in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,
pharmacology and medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques
would be demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced
imaging applications:
cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR, peripheral vascular/PVMR ,and or neurovascular - EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI , ASL
Brain, or Breast, or Prostate
- MR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR Prostate with endo-rectal coil
MR Guided fine needle breast and or prostate biopsies.
Brain
Fibroid tumors
- 3 years MRI Experience - required
- Licenses
o ARRT, CRT - required. MR certificate required
o ARRT, ARMRIT (MR) - required
- Venipuncture certificate - required
- BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
- Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required
- AA or BS - preferred
- Siemens experience - preferred
- Demonstrates competence in modifying protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic images.
- Demonstrates ability to train additional MR staff in addition to performing the advanced procedures without direction themselves.
