CACI is hiring a Network Engineer to provide support to the Office of Space Launch (OSL) and United States Space Force (USSF) under the Mission Assurance Support Contract (MASC). The MASC program provides Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Telemetry Operations and Launch Display System for enhanced mission awareness in support of the OSL and USSF space launch capability.

What You'll Get To Do:

Implement and maintain an accredited network environment to include Netgear, Cisco & Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls. Responsible for the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of networks supporting OSL Launch Information Dissemination and Simulation (LIDS) systems.

  • Establish networking environment by managing system configuration, installing systems, documenting system architecture, and adhering to network standards.

  • Provide detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution, including present and future capacity requirements.

  • Configure, install, troubleshoot various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN), LAN and WAN.

  • Maintain and moderate testbed and conduct testing of network systems.

  • Monitor network performance, responding to and troubleshooting network problems and outages.

  • Scheduling upgrades and conduct equipment refreshes.

  • Collaborate with network architects on network optimization.

  • Assist remote users with connections to our internal R&D network.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

  • Active Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain DoD TS/SCI w/CI Poly security clearance

  • BS/BA Plus 5 years of experience (9 years of experience in lieu of degree)

  • Must have or can achieve the following certifications: CompTIA Security These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • CCNA, JNCIA-Junos

  • Previous experience working on physical and logical network infrastructure installation or deployment/refresh projects.

  • Experience with making configuration changes on switches, routers, and firewalls.

  • Strong networking background to be able to troubleshoot complex network issues.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with members to field and troubleshooting questions and issues.

  • Implementation of New Generation Firewalls.

  • Previous DoD experience.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
