ManpowerGroup Set up Press Brake Operator in Santa Fe Springs, California

Setup Press Brake Operator - $28/Hour

MUST have experience conducting the full Setup of press brake machines.

Who were looking for:

  • MUST have experience in the setup of the machine.

  • 3-5 years' of experience operating press brake in sheet metal industry is a must.

  • Experience using a Cincinnati Press Brake highly preferred.

  • Must be able to read blueprints

  • Knowledge operating an array of hand and power tools.

  • Fluent in written and verbal English

What you'll be doing:

  • Setup for press brake machine and associated machinery to meet production requirements.

  • Gather, preset and install proper tooling and fixtures of press brake machine.

  • Run first piece and assure conformance to drawing.

  • Inspect all parts as required by process sheet and drawings, using all types of precision measuring instruments, including coordinate measuring device.

  • Monitor press brake production processes at appropriate intervals to insure continued part compliances.

  • Monitor production to ensure conformance with process sheet and time standards.

  • Monitor machine maintenance for lubrication, guarding and cleanliness.
